We were very fortunate to be able to attend Cole Weston’s October, 2000 Garrapata Workshop.  It was a pleasure to meet the man and hear the stories, see the places and experience the wonderful hospitality of this famous photographic family.  The workshop was four days, limited to 12 participants. . . we spent time with Cole at his home/studio in Garrapata Canyon, Point Lobos State Reserve and Wildcat Hill.  Cole was assisted by his son Kim, who is also a very accomplished photographer.  We have created a separate page of images for each day, chronologically arranged exactly as it all occurred.  We shot 24 rolls of 24 exposure 35mm color print film and these images represent our pick of them all.  Please be patient, there are a lot of images and they will take some time to load. . .
